Director's Dinners

Our programme of Director’s Dinners has been extremely well received by members. As a UK-wide organisation with members across the country AIFA endeavors to visit its members at least once a year. Directors’ Dinners offer our members the opportunity to network with colleagues and listen to a distinguished speaker as well as offering an environment in which to discuss the latest industry developments with peers over a complimentary three-course dinner. AIFA also values the opportunity to meet with its members face to face in these more intimate settings.

 

Our recent Director’s Dinner proved to be a great success. Held in West London at the Hilton and hosted by Fay Goddard, AIFA Deputy Director General, the event was attended by over 45 members. We were delighted to be joined by guest speaker Penny Shepherd, Chief Executive, UKSIF who gave our guests an introduction to Ethical Investments and a thought-provoking talk on why and how IFAs should embrace these new opportunities as consumers become more ethically-driven when choosing where to invest their money. This week is National Ethical Investment week and there are a number of events being held across the UK where you can find out more. See our Associate events section for further information.
