AIFA is proud to launch its new information service for Retired IFAs. New for 2008, this service will be available to ex-principals of firms that are no longer authorised. The service is intended to support those individuals who are either retired or still work in the industry but have liability for a previous firm that was Directly Authorised, or an Appointed Representative of a network.

What will you receive as a member?

Upon joining, members will receive a set of factsheets on the following areas:

  • Time-barring of endowment complaints
  • Dealing with endowment complaints
  • How the Financial Services Ombudsman Service works
  • The role of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme and the
  • Financial Services Authority
  • Dealing with Pension Review related complaints
  • The protection of your assets

 

Further factsheets will be produced as the year develops. Members will also receive:

  • Access to the AIFA helpline, which many of our full members use every week regarding matters on regulation, policy and current topical issues.
  • Referral service to specialist advice
  • Regular updates on changes to relevant regulation and legislation
  • Free attendance to many AIFA events
  • Access to our new Viewpoint on Succession Planning

The cost of membership is £250.00 per annum, and payable upfront by either cheque or Annual Direct Debit.
